Perfect Pampering and Pasketti

I just spent the most glorious two and a half hours being pampered at Mango Salon. 

Mango Salon is an Aveda salon, which means all of their products are botanically based, and environmentally sustainable.  Their products are never tested on animals, and they support causes such as Earth Month, Breast Cancer Awareness, and Bottle Cap recycling.

But what I love most about Mango Salon are these chairs!  They are the BEST salon chairs I have ever experienced. 

You know when you get your hair washed at the salon and you are holding your purse in your lap?  Your feet are tucked neatly under you?  Your neck is all crinked up.  You’re straining upward so as not to get wet, and you just can’t wait for the shampooing to end???

Well, these chairs were simply made for pampering.  They are leather recliners, and the sink basin is heated.  So while you are reclining, your neck is nice and warm and cozy.  And, best of all, there are massage rollers in the chair that gently massage away.  The shampoo girls always massage your scalp until you just can’t talk anymore.  It literally leaves you speechless!

Let’s just say that I am totally and completely relaxed.  Larry met me at the door with a nice glass of pinot grigio, and he had already started dinner!

We dined on pasketti and freshly baked rosemary infused bread.

While Larry had ground turkey as his meat, I had sautéed veggies as mine!

Served on whole wheat pasta, covered in Newman’s Own All Natural Sockarooni tomato sauce.

Just Perfect!

Now I’m off to watch an episode of Chuck with the Mister, and then I’m off to dream land!  Enjoy your evening!
